How is the Sicilian Black Pork Sausage Sauce Made? Segreti di Sicilia
Our sauce with Sicilian black pork sausage is made from a light sauté of onion in Frantoi Cutrera extra virgin olive oil. Separately, the sausage prepared with pork, salt, fennel seeds and chilli pepper is sautéed. The two sautés are then combined with the tomato sauce and herbs (bay leaves and fennel seeds). The sauce has an intense red colour, with strong aromatic notes of pork sausage and fennel seeds. The velvety consistency alternates with the consistency of the pieces of meat. The flavour is sweet, tasty and slightly aromatic.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and light. After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within 5 days.
Use
Heat for two minutes. Perfect with all types of pasta, especially Tagliatelle, Paccheri, Busiate.
