Prosecco DOC, Millesimato, Extra Dry 75 cl
Prosecco vinified after a careful selection of the best Glera grapes, obtained from the same harvest. In production, the bunches are softly pressed and a slow fermentation then begins in steel tanks.
The colour is bright straw yellow enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage, the result of the long natural fermentation that characterises its body and foam.
Fresh and elegant, it is rich in fruity aromas, apple, pear, with a hint of citrus that fade into floral. The wine is soft and at the same time dry thanks to a lively acidity.
The acronym Millesimato indicates an exceptional vintage. A vintage in which the climate was particularly benevolent, allowing for perfectly ripe grapes with uniformity in the bunch. In these cases, the grapes will be intact and the wine will have an excellent quality, so much so that the bottle will be labeled with the wording “Millesimato”. In fact, in order to market a Millesimato sparkling wine, 85% of the base wine must be produced with grapes from the vintage of which the vintage is to be indicated.
Prosecco Millesimato is ideal as an aperitif. Its fine taste tickles the palate especially when paired with cakes, focaccia and white meats. It also pairs well with oysters and shellfish. Its balanced flavor manages to support the sweet tendency of these products.
